Meet Our Team

  • Richard Ziarkowski D.C.
    Owner/Chiropractor

I grew up in Lackawanna, NY and graduated from the New York Chiropractic College where I obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic in 1998.  I am certified in the following: the Koren Technique in 2007, the Kennedy Decompression Technique in 2008, the Neuromechanical Technique in 2009 and the Whitten Technique in 2014. I not only come up with personalized treatment plans for my patients, but I was the first to provide affordable decompression to Western New York. I am the owner of both Universal Chiropractic and South Buffalo Chiropractic. My Chiropractic focus is on cooperative multidisciplinary care, patient-centered quality treatment, and in-depth post-surgical spine rehab. My passion is in living a healthy lifestyle and encouraging my patients to do the same. My mission is to help insure that our patients have the highest possible “quality of life.” To improve their health through personal dedication and cutting-edge medical technology. To help them heal, without surgery, in the most affordable manner possible.

  • Marshall Dornink D.C.
    Chiropractor

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from UW-La Crosse in 2003.  My Master’s degree is in Kinesiology/Sport Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2006 and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from D’Youville College in 2014.  I am Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and certified in the Graston® technique. Prior to graduating from D’Youville College, I worked as an Athletic Trainer at SUNY-Binghamton, where I cared for the Division I athletes on the Volleyball, Wrestling and Swimming/Diving teams. I have also worked as a personal trainer for several years, working with a variety of clients and athletes and believe that improving strength and stability in the muscles that act on the spine can be a key component for better spine health. When I am not working with my patients, I am spending time with my wife and three children. I believe in a healthy work and life balance. I enjoy strength training and have competed as a power lifter and in strongman competitions. It is with my background, experience, and training that I hope to help you reach your health and wellness goals.

  • Alana Flitt D.C.
    Chiropractor

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2009 from SUNY Fredonia. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2013 from D’Youville College and graduated with honors. I have a passion for treating expectant mothers and pediatric patients. With more than 5 years of diverse experiences, especially in chiropractic, I believe my patients are receiving the best quality of care. I live in Hamburg, NY, and spend my time out of the office with my son, husband, and family dog.  I am certified in Graston® Technique, an innovative form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization that is used to break down scar tissue or fascial and muscle restrictions. To better understand my patients, I became a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and am certified in the Webster Technique, which has exceptional benefits for pregnant women. I believe chiropractic care is important for my family as well. I adjust my own son.  I strongly believe that chiropractic treatment of children, in addition to helping to reduce pain, can help promote wellness, reduce illness, and encourage optimal health; putting a child on the right path for health and wellness into adulthood.
